How much space do I need around the air cooled chiller ?

On air cooled chillers, the typical distance around the chiller is 1 Meter to allow for routine maintenance and to allow air to be pulled into the condenser area,for example,if the air cooled chiller is very close to the wall or other equipment, and the hot air of the chiller can not be dispersed well, which may cause the chiller high pressure alarm .For the above units, the farther the above distance, the better. For all systems, up to 1.2 meters of clearance for maintenance, service and electrical access may be required.
